About the Event
Join San Diego FBA for our first event of the year, a special Courtroom Conversation with Presiding U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen S. Crawford before her retirement in spring 2026. Judge Crawford will discuss her 14 years of service on the federal bench and provide advice for lawyers appearing before magistrate judges. As always, attendees will have the opportunity to network and connect with Judge Crawford and colleagues during the first 20 minutes of the program. During the remaining 40 minutes, Judge Crawford will discuss her path to the federal bench and practice pointers for civil and criminal practitioners.
