About the Event
The San Diego Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California are pleased to present the Seventeenth Annual Judith N. Keep Federal Practice Seminar. The annual seminar is dedicated to the memory of former District Judge Judith N. Keep, who served as a United States District Judge in the Southern District of California for over twenty years and as the District's first female Chief Judge from 1991 to 1998.
This year's seminar will focus on pretrial and trial practice, including making a record for appeal. The program will include four speaker panels featuring Ninth Circuit Judge John B. Owens and many Southern District of California District Judges and Magistrate Judges.
