The United States District Court for the Southern District of California is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Appellate Panel. Applications will be accepted beginning September 1, 2021 and ending on October 5, 2021 for the term beginning January 1, 2022 and expiring on December 31, 2023.
The application and instructions for electronic submission are available online at: www.casd.uscourts.gov/Attorneys/CriminalJusticeAct. Applications must be submitted electronically. No paper copies will be accepted. All applications must be filed by midnight on October 5, 2021. Applications not timely received by the Clerks Office will not be considered.
