Southern District's Public Notice Regarding U.S. Magistrate Judge Position

Pursuant to the Southern District of California’s General Order 750, the Court is considering the appointment of one full-time United States Magistrate Judge, “contingent upon a vacancy in the office which will be created upon Magistrate Judge William V. Gallo's retirement in October 2023.”

The application form and further information on the Magistrate Judge position may be obtained from the Court’s website. The Magistrate Judge application must be e-mailed to John Morrill, Clerk of Court for the Southern District of California, at no later than June 16, 2023. See Pub. Notice (Feb. 9, 2022).
