August Chapter Update

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2021 Annual Conference, "DIVERSITY TOOLKIT: A Roadmap for Enhancing Equity." The conference featured a video titled History of Diversity in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, two panels with distinguished speakers, and a keynote address from Professor Bertrall Ross. Participants also heard from San Diego County Superior Court Judge Garry G. Haehnle about the court’s new Judicial Mentor Program. You can read more about the conference here.

At the reception following the conference, Chapter President Rebecca Church presented our inaugural Chapter Awards. Morgan Suder received the Distinguished Service Award, and Hannah Brown received the Rising Attorney Award. Congratulations to Hannah and Morgan on their achievements.

This month, we hope you will join us for a mix of in-person and virtual events and learn about one of our many outstanding members.
